Helen embarks on a passionate affair with a man who has no idea of her secret identity. Caught in the crosshairs when her lover falls victim to London’s dangerous criminal underworld, Helen’s employer enlists Sam to protect her.
Well, it wasn’t
Starring in Graham Norton and the Fans: Cher/Keira Knightley/Michael Fassbender/Josh Brolin/Jalen Ngonda (2024). When you have three leads like Keira Knightley, Ben Whishaw, and Sarah Lancashire – plus a cameo from Tracey Ullman – you expect nothing less than a top-notch TV series or movie.
Would you kill someone when you’re legally drunk and have snorted horse tranquilizer?
Over the course of six episodes, the plot has become increasingly legless (i.e., it has no legs to stand on) and more and more scenes have become increasingly unbelievable. Well, that’s the kind of nonsense you have to put up with — along with a ridiculously high body count.
If that’s going to happen, it needs to do better
The show even spent a good chunk of the final episode laying the groundwork for a second season. MUCH BETTER…
