TV adaptation of James Patterson’s novels about the complicated and brilliant detective Alex Cross
Hodge is the third actor to play Cross, following Morgan Freeman, who first played him on screen in the 1997 film Kiss the Girls and again in the 2001 sequel Along Came a Spider; and Tyler Perry as the titular character in 2012’s Alex Cross, which bombed at the box office and prompted Lionsgate to scrap its previously planned sequel Double Cross.. I’ve read a few of the Alex Cross books and found them to be too terrible for my taste, even though I thought they were well-written, with good stories and characters.
But the picture is so dark
Somehow, I found the show to be more enjoyable, with equally good writing and characters. I have to turn off all the lights in my room and turn the TV to bright mode (I have an LG OLED).
If they could fix that, that would be great
It’s like the people responsible for the picture quality were at lunch. The cinematography is great in some ways, but in terms of image brightness, it’s so far behind all the other shows that it bothers me.
