Aristotle Onassis, Maria Callas’s longtime companion, later married former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy

I want to be adored
Maria Callas: Save me a table at a café where the waiters know who I am. Mentioned in Close-Up: Why Do We Need the Venice Film Festival?
Maria is a solid musical biography
(2024). Angelina Jolie’s excellent performance ties the film together very well, and I admire how much she put into this role, especially her operatic singing.
It’s a beautifully shot and directed film
The plot is a bit chaotic and the pacing is a bit slow, but I still think the film is entertaining enough to enjoy and also educational about the period and opera in general. I really like the editing and the black and white cinematography is gorgeous.
