They think it will solve all their problems
It tells the story of three very different families who compete to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style villa. The exterior photos of the house are similar to the one that Michelle and Cam lived in on Modern Family.
The show is a slow-burn mystery romp that may not be for everyone
I was surprised to see the show get so little attention, but it made more sense after seeing the explanation for why most of the reviews didn’t come back after the first episode. I personally find it hilarious and entertaining with a special touch from Liz Feldman.
I really like the cast and everyone’s performances
I wasn’t sold on Ray Romano at first because of my own bias (the fact that I couldn’t separate him from Everybody Loves Raymond for the rest of my life) but that was quickly removed. All the different characters have their own backstories and it creates a tangled web that gradually, if not completely, unravels.
I’m not mad about it though
Despite the major twist being set up so quickly, I was pretty invested in the story by the last episode. I’d love to see more of this show and I hope they get a second season.
