Danielle Deadwyler (Till, The Harder They Fall, The Piano Lesson) stars as Ramona, a woman left crippled by grief after surviving a car accident that killed her husband (Russell Hornsby; BMF, Fences). Severely injured, Ramona must now raise their 14-year-old son (Peyton Jackson; Respect, American Refugee) and 6-year-old daughter (Estella Kahihah; Will Trent, BMF) alone in their farmhouse. Then one day, the woman accepts the painting in their yard. Ramona assumes the woman (Okwui Okpokwasili; The Exorcist: Believer, Julie Taymor’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream) is lost or crazy, but as she creeps closer to the house, it becomes clear that she is no ordinary figure, and her intentions are anything but peaceful. Now Ramona must band together to protect herself and her children from the clutches of a woman who simply won’t leave them alone.
